How to install eSIM?
The eSIM installation can be completed in a few minutes. Follow the steps below according to your device to easily activate the eSIM with QR code or manual setup.
Compatible device
First, make sure your device supports eSIM. Many new iPhone, Samsung, and Google Pixel models work with eSIM.
Internet connection
You will need Wi-Fi or another active internet connection during installation. The eSIM profile is downloaded through this connection.
QR code or activation code
With the QR code or manual setup data you receive after purchase, you can easily add the eSIM to your device.
Installation steps by device
Select your device brand below. Basic installation steps are listed separately for each brand. Menu names may vary slightly depending on the model.
Open Settings
Go to Settings > Cellular / Mobile Data and select “Add eSIM” or “Add Cellular Plan”.
Scan the QR code
Scan the QR code sent to you with the camera. The device will automatically recognize the plan details.
Add plan
Follow the on-screen confirmation steps to load the eSIM plan onto your device. If necessary, also enter a line name.
Choose as your internet line
Select eSIM as your mobile data line and, if required, enable data roaming.
Open the Connections menu.
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager and tap the “Add mobile plan” option.
Add with QR
Select the option "Scan QR code from service provider" and scan the QR code that was sent to you.
Complete the installation.
The phone will download the eSIM profile. Once it's done, activate the line and select it as your primary line for internet.
Check roaming
For use abroad, make sure data roaming is active. If necessary, also check APN settings.
Open network settings
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs and select the option to add a new SIM.
Download eSIM
Select the “Download a SIM instead?” or similar option to open the QR scanning screen.
Scan the QR code
Scan the activation QR code and wait for the device to download the eSIM profile.
Activate the line
Once the installation is complete, select this line for mobile internet and activate roaming if necessary.
Opens the manual configuration screen.
On your device, select the option for manual setup instead of QR. It usually appears as “Enter details manually”.
Enter the SM-DP+ address.
Carefully type in the SM-DP+ address provided by your provider. Pay attention to the letters and symbols.
Add activation code
If prompted, enter the activation code or confirmation code and start downloading the profile.
Test the connection.
Once the installation is complete, check your mobile data settings and test your internet connection.
